Mayor Pro Tem Yazzie inducted into Park's Native American Hallways of Heritage On Nov. 7, students in Park Elementary School’s Native American Crew welcomed Mayor Pro Tem Gilda Yazzie for the unveiling of an honorary poster of her in the school’s Native American Hallways of Heritage. Multiple posters line several hallways, beginning about 50 feet from the front entrance of the school.
Park Panthers get out the vote On Friday, Oct. 25, more than 80 Park Elementary School fourth graders climbed the Sky Steps to Fort Lewis College (FLC), broke into groups, and began encouraging passersby to stop for a conversation about voting.
