Hi! My name is Sarena Parker and I am the media tech in Park Elementary's library! I love being in the library at Park, reading books to students, and helping them find books that they will enjoy. I was born in Florida but have been in Colorado for most of my life. I have a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Fort Lewis. My husband Micah is a painting contractor and we have 2 kids that both went to Park Elementary (my son Noah is currently in his last year here). We have 2 rescue dogs, Skully and Harley, and Inca is our cat. When I'm not reading books, I enjoy cross country skiing, hiking, boating at Lake Nighthorse or especially Lake McPhee, camping, and traveling to Florida with my family to visit my parents (who recently moved back to Florida). I feel very lucky to be working with all the amazing teachers and staff here at Park and love getting to know all the students!

Hola, mi nombre es Sarena Parker y soy la técnica de medios en la biblioteca de Park Elementary. Me encanta estar en la biblioteca de Park, leer libros a los estudiantes y ayudarles a encontrar libros que les gusten. Nací en Florida pero he estado en Colorado la mayor parte de mi vida. Tengo una licenciatura en Antropología de Fort Lewis. Mi marido Micah es un contratista de pintura y tenemos 2 hijos que ambos fueron a Park Elementary (mi hijo Noah está actualmente en su último año aquí). Tenemos 2 perros de rescate, Skully y Harley, e Inca es nuestro gato. Cuando no estoy leyendo libros, me gusta el esquí de fondo, senderismo, paseos en bote en el lago Nighthorse o especialmente en el lago McPhee, acampar, y viajar a Florida con mi familia para visitar a mis padres (que recientemente se mudaron de nuevo a Florida). ¡Me siento muy afortunada de trabajar con todos los increíbles maestros y personal aquí en Park y me encanta conocer a todos los estudiantes!
