Welcome you to Kindergarten!  I am looking forward to having you in my class this year!  This will be a great year of wonder, learning and amazing growth for your child.  Kindergarten is a big transition for many families.  I will work with your family to make sure that this is a successful transition for your child.  I believe that communication is the key to your child’s success and to a great parent/teacher relationship.  I encourage you to contact me with any questions or concerns at any time.  I will be setting up Class Tag which is an online platform that I use to quickly communicate with all families.  Please look for an invite in your email for this soon.

I have been teaching Kindergarten here at Park for quite a few years and 15+ years of teaching Kindergarten in my teaching career.  I am married and have two daughters and both arestudents here at Park! 

 

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from the University of Milwaukee in Wisconsin. In my free time, I love being outdoors and spending time with my family. I like to go camping, hiking and just playing with my daughters in our backyard.  I find teaching Kindergarten to be very rewarding. As their teacher you see them grow so much academically. They come into Kindergarten ready to learn and excited to be a student. When they leave Kindergarten they are truly reading, writing and doing basic addition and subtraction. I really enjoy being a part of the Park Elementary family and the Durango community.

Este es mi sexto año enseñando Kindergarten aquí en Park y mi 15º año enseñando Kindergarten.  Estoy casada y tengo dos hijas Lucy 6 y Lilly 4.  Lucy también es una estudiante aquí en Park.
