About Sarah Hallett
Hello! I am so excited to start my second year with Park Elementary. Last year, I was the instructional coach for our school, and while I am continuing to embrace that role, this year I am also teaching 5th grade ELA. I am thrilled to be back in the classroom and working closely with students. As for my background, I received a BA in Environmental Studies and Pre-Architecture at Middlebury College in Vermont before moving to Colorado to pursue teaching. I have my masters in Educational Psychology and Human Development from the University of Colorado, Denver and worked at schools in Denver before moving to Durango in 2019. Whether I am hiking, running, skiing, swimming or sitting out on the porch watching the sunset, I love being outside. I also enjoy spending time with my dog, Nola, and my husband, Bruce, as we adventure together. When I’m not being active out here in Colorado, I enjoy spending quality time with my family.
