About Me
Greetings! My name is Tom Poole and I am the Physical Education Teacher at Park. I was born and raised in Durango and I graduated from Fort Lewis College with a BA in Exercise Science with an emphasis on K-12 Education and a Minor in Coaching.
In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching sports, playing guitar, creating music, and reading- mostly nonfiction.
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the joy and sense of accomplishment students have when they learn a new skill in my class. My students would say that I am a calm, encouraging teacher who has a good sense of humor.

Hola a todos. Mi nombre es Tom Poole y soy el Profesor de Educación Física en Park. Nací y crecí en Durango y me gradué de Fort Lewis College con una licenciatura en Ciencias del Ejercicio con énfasis en Educación K-12 y un menor en Coaching.
En mi tiempo libre, me gusta jugar y ver deportes, tocar la guitarra, crear música y leer, sobre todo no ficción.
La parte más gratificante de mi trabajo es ver la alegría y la sensación de logro que tienen los estudiantes cuando aprenden una nueva habilidad en mi clase. Mis alumnos dirían que soy una profesora tranquila, alentadora y con buen sentido del humor.
