The COVID-19 pandemic has caused an undeniably difficult situation for many in our community and in our nation over the past 19 months. We know that many of our students will require a significant amount of attention to address academic learning loss, and social-emotional needs both due to the pandemic as well as other factors.

We can’t wait to bring the joy of reading to Park Elementary with the online only Virtual Scholastic Book Fair on Oct. 4th through Oct. 17th. You’ll get to enjoy the magic of a Book Fair from the comfort of your home with our Virtual Fair experience. Kids can shop thousands of books online to discover new favorites and stock their shelves with this season’s most popular reads!

No podemos esperar a traer la alegría de la lectura a Park Elementary con la Feria Virtual del Libro Scholastic sólo en línea del 4 al 17 de octubre. Podrán disfrutar de la magia de una Feria del Libro desde la comodidad de su casa con nuestra experiencia de la Feria Virtual. Los niños pueden comprar miles de libros en línea para descubrir nuevos favoritos y llenar sus estantes con las lecturas más populares de esta temporada.

On Monday, September 20, 2021, in a Special Board Meeting, the 9-R Board of Education interviewed three potential candidates for the vacant position in Director District D, selecting Katie Stewart as the appointed candidate.

The Board of Education meeting that was cancelled on August 24, 2021 has been rescheduled to September 7, 2021 starting at 5:30pm. This meeting will be streamed only, with no in-person audience. Public participants will participate via Zoom.
