Dalene Pope's Bio

I received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Masters of Arts in K-5 Education from New Mexico State University. I taught Kindergarten in New Mexico before moving to Durango. I have been with Durango 9R for 11 years. In my free time, I love to travel, spend time with my family and friends boating, skiing, camping, hiking, hunting and playing softball. The most rewarding part of my job is helping Preschoolers develop a love for learning and school! We are some of their first school experiences and it is important to help them to learn to love school and show them that learning is fun! My students would say that I am fun, silly, loving, kind and caring!
